Myth Creations

  When creating a myth you understand the creativity that goes into it. In a way it can even help future writing assignments by understanding the exposition and parts of a story that is required to make a proper story. For example, understanding when to have the beginning, middle, and end. This is something that can be used in a creative writing class. There are many times when people are told to just write a creative story, but in this case we took a real life example and turned it into something to make belief. It made it a lot more fun and comfortable to write the story, which some people might struggle with. Especially because in my current class alone, the environment is very comfortable therefore I do not feel embarrassed about writing something crazy. Now the way this enhances my understanding of myths was that I learned that pretty much anything can be turned into a myth. Writing about Poetry VS. Writing Poetry

 Writing about poetry versus writing poetry. Which is easier? I would definitely have to say that writing about poetry is way easier and my preferred thing to do. There are a bunch of different ways poems can be interpreted and you can find plenty of evidence and sources to back up those claims. However, when it comes to writing a poem, it just feels so vulnerable and like you're doing it the wrong way. Or at least that is how I feel when writing poetry. However when it does come to writing about poetry, you understand the method and what it takes to get a good outcome. And that sometimes you never even get the outcome you want, but other people might even like whatever your poem ends up to be. Another thing I learned is that almost everything can be made into poetry. For example, William Wordsworth wrote a poem from an inspiration he had while just taking a walk. School Media Challenges

 Hello everyone or anyone, welcome to my blog. Over the course of the past few years, teaching has had an increase in challenges. One specific thing is media technology. Everyone knows the reference "iPad kid," which is pretty much a kid who spends every second they can on an iPad and essentially can not live without it. Now knowing this, some teachers might be able to use it to their advantage and find helpful and fun videos to help assist their learning subjects. However, there are also not so great ways of using media technology such as PowerPoint where the teacher just directly reads off of it. That is something anyone can do on their own time. Another thing is just showing videos and not adding any sort of personal input to it. By doing that, you are pretty much just stealing someone else's work to teach kids instead of using it in your own way and ADD it to how you may want to teach something.
